Size: Small to medium, usually the size of an alaskan malamute.
Pet class leech monsters are the result of breeding and domesticating wild and mount class leech monsters over time; they are noticablly smaller and shorter than their wild counterpart, their tails are usually shorter and fatter as well.

Diet: Specialized leech kibble, feeder animals.
There are a number of ways to feed your pet leech:
1. Breed livestock, maybe a chicken every few days or a sheep every 3 weeks
2. Take your leech hunting! It is probably the most easiest way to make your leech happy. After you've established a bond with your leech you may take it out on hunting trips! Let it loose for a couple of hours to do its thing, keep in mind though that you shouldn't do this frequently, sparking a huge blood sucking beast's hunting instincts isn't a very smart idea!
3. Buy specialized Leech food! You can buy them in some general stores and the food itself looks like little squares of plastic with blood in them, but don't worry! that isn't actual plastic, your leech will have no problem digesting it. Make sure to keep it in a cold place like a fridge, and heat it up before you serve it! Keep in mind though, some leeches may reject this food based on the build of their jaw and the type of teeth they have.

Definitive traits:
- Smaller shorter body than a wild.
- Good temperment (usually).
- More often than not the lack of horns, or any dangerous trait. (Lore, feel free to stick horns on your pet.)

Relationship with humans:
Pet leech monsters are just what they look like, leech monsters people keep as pets ! Though keeping a leech as a pet is still controversial and scary to some, its becoming more and more of a common practice.
Pet leeches are a result of a long process of breeding and training, it is through this process of breeding that the leeches produced come out relatively hazard free (Having no horns and lacking spikes and claws) and friendly. Leeches are solitary creatures, but breeding in human care gradually softens em up and teaches them to view humans as things to be dependent on rather than potential pray or hazard. Safe pet leeches will never grow over the size of a large cat (meaning the size of a lion or a tiger)! If you leech does end up growing over that limit, well, I'd suggest contacting your breeder and perhaps the police. Why the police? because of illegal breeding. Make sure to always, ALWAYS buy your leech from well known, professional breeders because there is always the risk of ILLEGAL BREEDING. You do NOT want to end up with a wild leech on your hands,a wild leech monster is NOT a pet, it is a dangerous creature and it will demand respect, a wild leech can kill you.
