This potion has a 97% chance of killing you within the first 48 hours of drinking it. The other 3% you ask? You will be blessed with unimaginable godly power, more than your mer mortal brain could ever suffice... So what do you say, are you willing to take a chance?"
Pereunt Morte roughly translates to 'succumb to death' or 'lost death' in latin.
Of course the potion doesn't do any of that. It just gives you bad gas for the next 48 hours. But it is a way to get a quick buck out of unsuspecting leeches and/or tourists.
