Each choice leads to unique rewards, but there's no locking into branching paths - each week will only reveal two new prompts regardless of what you chose the previous week!

Completing every required prompt will earn you the unique Silk Touch event trophy - while other rewards may show up in Trixie's store from time to time, the trophies are event-specific, so don't miss out!

You also cannot skip prompts! You have to complete them in order if you want to earn all the available currency/items.

1st prompts; Available Oct 1st - Now open!
2nd prompts: Available Oct 8th - Now open!
3rd prompts: Available Oct 15th - Now open!
4th and final prompt: Available Oct 22nd - Now open!

All prompts will remain active through to the end of November.

The Story So Far...

PROLOGUE

Another year, another Fall - another visit from Trixie at the Trading Host.
But something seems to have gone wrong.

The stall is a mess. All of the fine wares scattered, missing, or straight up eaten, and only one mysterious clue lies obvious: everything is covered in strange webbing.

There's no sign of Trixie, and you suspect she wouldn't've let her stall get in this condition were she here to catch the culprit in the act.

There's nothing much for it right now but to wait for Trixie to return on October 1st.
Week 1

Word has spread – the Trading Host has reopened!
However, when you get there... the stall is a mess. Pillows and rugs astray, scattered storage and sewing supplies, and worst of all, it's empty of merchandise.
Trixie is pacing back and forth next to it, uncharacteristically frazzled. She sees you and pounces!

She spits out a jumble of hisses and chattering sounds, apparently accusing you of something, before pointing furiously at a pile of ruined items – her merchandise.

Most of it seems to have been eaten, but some has been stolen, notably her collection of crystal eyes. What looks like spiderweb covers the entire mess.

Obviously it wasn't you! You don't look like a giant spider!

Trixie huffs, but is still clearly upset about her stall. She points to where the strange webbing forms a trail deeper into the cave, and makes shooing motions at you.

Seems if you want to buy things, you have to find all her shop stock first!

Prompts:

The cave beyond Trixie's stall is evidently a sub-system of the sprawling labyrinthine expanse that cave leeches originated from. Its walls are festooned with that same webbing that only gets thicker the further in you go. There are broken crystal eyes and pieces of glowing mushroom tangled in it, just enough to see the path ahead is completely obscured by silk, and... a figure?

It's Jinx! What's she doing here?

Supply Run

“Oh, heyyy! My favorite customer!” When you eye her suspiciously she starts acting incredibly shifty. “Me? Stealing Trixie's merchandise? Don't be ridiculous. I'm actually just here to pick up some of this weird silk stuff.” She opens her satchel to reveal exactly that.

“But, hey, there were a lot of items stuck in the silk, so if she's asking you to bring some back, I've made it super easy for you!”

Stop, Thief!

I'm actually just here to pick up some of this weird silk stuff.” She opens her satchel to reveal exactly that, but you can see something hidden underneath.

You point it out, and Jinx puts her paws up in a surrendering gesture. “Okay, okay, but it's not merchandise, got it? She has a cute collection, I couldn't help myself. Here, take this one back to her. But don't uh... don't mention it was me, right?”

Week 2

You emerge from the cave dusty and covered in cobwebs, feeling somewhat bedraggled. Trixie's shop has been neatened somewhat, and now looks sad and empty. As you approach with your prize for her, she scurries up to examine what you have, sniffing about in all your pockets to make sure you're not hiding things from her - but no, this really is all you have.

Trixie isn't too enthused with your meager findings. Evidently she had crates and crates of stuff, not a couple of pawfuls, so it's back to the caves!

Jinx has vanished, taking all the silk that was blocking the way forward, so you slip through and continue on.

The passage becomes increadibly unsteady as you progress, lit sporadically by blue mushrooms. What look like massive curving stalagmites start arching out of the rock around you, and the silk is getting thicker, making the rocky floor almost soft to walk on... at least, in the parts you don't have to jump across. Interestingly, you note that it's emanating its own soft glow, effectively providing a path for you.

Prompts:

Part of the cave has crumbled, but whatever made the web trails has definitely been this way a few times – what would be a yawning ravine cleaving the walls and floor apart is strung across with a tightrope of web.
Something glitters on the other side of the ravine, but you can also see something on a ledge below you.

Walking the Wire
You test the strength of the webbing with your feet, and it seems to hold. Gingerly, you begin to make your way across, one painstaking inch at a time. Finally you're in range of the thing you can see glinting on the ground.
Perhaps a little foolishly, you steady yourself and reach forward, almost, almost...!

Spider-Leech
Deciding your balance is way too poor to ever make it across the gap, you decide the ledge is a far safer option. Glowing mushrooms light the way, and while it's a little too steep to climb down normally, you can bundle some strands of web to make a rope. You attach it to what seems to be a secure chunk of rock and make your way down carefully.
The rock shudders a little and moves when you're about to reach the ledge, and you become incredibly nervous about your chances of making it back up - but you're almost at your prize!

Week 3

There's been such slim pickings here that you decide to stay the course, and venture deeper in rather than return to Trixie. No doubt she'd be upset at having only a pawful of her merchandise returned after all this time you've spent in the cave so far.
Testing the silk with your weight, you decide it's best to grab what you can before you press on, and when it holds, you begin to feel confident in your decision.

Prompts:

The good news: The silk doesn't break. It's far too strong and could probably hold something a considerably larger than you.
The bad news: The ravine's edge does. You hear only a crumbling of rock before the entire cliff comes apart above you, sending you plummeting into the abyss!

You can barely see anything as you fall, but the ravine walls whooshing past you seem to be getting thicker with silk on the way down. Maybe you could reach out, and...

Well, Chute!
The silk comes away from the walls and barely slows your descent, but in your frantic grip it becomes a very effective parachute. The rush of the wind eases up as your fall slows, and far below you, you can see the ground swathed entirely in silk. It's still going to be a bit of a fast landing, but at the very least you know it'll be a soft one, and not a horrifying end at the points of stalagmites.

Tactical Nap
It takes some frantic grabbing but eventually you manage to grab the webs and pull yourself close enough that it cushions your fall.
Some of the webs tear free from the unsteady rock under your weight, but there's not much in the way of danger: the silk is thick enough that the further you go, it's more like fabric steps. Or even maybe a hammock! It's certainly soft enough. The panic from the initial fall is wearing off, leaving you very sleepy. Maybe a nap wouldn't go amiss...

Week 4 [NEW!]

After a brief reprieve, you continue along the soft, thick silk path. There's soft sand underfoot, and it seems to be leading in a particular direction, along with a mysterious glow. Could it be the way out?

When you round the corner, it's not the outside. It's probably the heart of the cave system, and when you see it, you can't help but gasp.

Silkmoth Cavern - image contains webbed egg sacs!
Prompt:

Beyond you is a cavern, lit a brilliant glowing blue. Silk webbing stretches wall to wall, imbued with that same glittering luminescent sand you can feel under your feet and studded with so many items you can't ever hope to collect them all yourself. The walls seem to have petrified into some sort of opaline quality gemstone, casting prismatic refractions of rainbow all around that bounce off the crystal eyes caught up in all the threads.
It's beautiful.
But you're not alone.
You know this from the immediate sense of being watched as you approach the chamber, but also from the hundreds of silk-encased eggs swept up in the silk – and, as you squint around, you see a very long sinuous shape slide out of sight.
Tiny pairs of eyes watch you from tunnels high up in the cave's ceiling.

Feeling bold, you take one step forward – and something launches itself from the silk webbing at you!

It's a - moth? a worm? a thing?? It's very much not a leech. Its body isn't even as big as a luxury - barring the tail, of course. It steals all the crystal eyes you have, and scurries back up the webbing to stick them in all the silk. It's been these guys all along! They're not very friendly-looking, but maybe they can be tempted with food...

The Silkmoth

It was a struggle, but eventually you managed to emerge back out of the cave.
Completely empty-handed... except for one silkmoth clutched tightly! If you have the culprit, Trixie may accept that you had nothing to do with this, and you'll be able to go home.

As it turns out, you had nothing to worry about.

Trixie rushes up to you, angry at first, but as soon as she catches sight of the silkmoth, she squeals in delight, utterly entranced by the creature!

The silkmoth seems just as taken by Trixie - or maybe it's just the crystal eyes she keeps in her hat, because it leaps from your grasp, over her snout, and ferrets its way directly into the hat's open tear like it belongs there.

She dances around with the little creature for a moment before remembering you're there, and through chittering and gestures seems to promise to have the shop open soon.

You're not sure how she'll manage to get her stock back so fast, but surely she has her ways.

As a final reward, she hands you a gift!

Visit the prompt to claim your prize - after completing the other prompts, of course!
