Species

In main canon leech monsters are a feral animal species. Due to their carnivorous diet and hardy body, wild leech monsters are viewed as pests. That being said, the fact that they’re large, sufficient predators didn’t deter society from domesticating the species, and the resulting domesticated breeds fall under "classes". Each class has its own defining traits and purposes.
